My Wish Rascal Flatts Lyrics

Me And My Gang Album Image

I hope the days come easy
and the moments pass slow,
And each road leads you
where you want to go,

And if you're faced with a choice,
and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one
that means the most to you.

And if one door opens
to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin'
till you find the window,

If it's cold outside,
show the world the warmth of your smile,

But more than anything, more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,

Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you,
and wants the same things too,

Yeah, this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more than you take.

But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you,
and wants the same things too,

Yeah, this, is my wish.

This is my wish
I hope you know somebody loves you
May all your dreams stay big

Over You With Lyrics

Miranda Lambert Over You with Lyrics

Weather man said it's gonna snow
By now I should be used to the cold
Mid-February shouldn't be so scary
It was only December
I still remember the presents, the tree, you and me

But you went away
How dare you?
I miss you
They say I'll be OK
But I'm not going to ever get over you

Living alone here in this place
I think of you, and I'm not afraid

Your favorite records make me feel better
Cause you sing along
With every song
I know you didn't mean to give them to me

But you went away
How dare you?
I miss you
They say I'll be OK
But I'm not going to ever get over you

It really sinks in, you know, when I see it in stone

Cause you went away,
How dare you?
I miss you
They say I'll be OK
But I'm not going to ever get over you

Miranda Lambert Over You with Lyrics"Over You" is a country ballad written by Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton about a personal experience Shelton had as a teenager when his older brother was killed in a car accident. According to Lambert, she decided to record the song because of Shelton's emotional connection to the song: "Blake said he couldn’t record it for himself or sing it onstage every night, but he would be honored for me to."

It was released in January 2012 as the second single from Lambert's fourth studio album, Four the Record.

Lambert performed the song at the 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards on April 1, 2012.

Mean Taylor Swift Lyrics

Mean Taylor Swift Lyrics

You, with your words like knives
And swords and weapons that you use against me.

You, have knocked me off my feet again Got me feeling like a nothing

You, with your voice like nails on a chalkboard Calling me out when I'm wounded

You, picking on the weaker man.

Well you can take me down

With just one single blow

But you don't know what you don't know

Someday I'll be living in a big old city

And all you're ever gonna be is mean

Someday I'll be big enough so you can't hit me

And all you're ever gonna be is mean

Why you gotta be so mean?

You, with your switching sides

And your walk by lies

And your humiliation

You, have pointed out my flaws again

As if I don't already see them

I walk with my head down

Tying to block you out

Cause I'll never impress you

I just want to feel okay again

I'll bet you got pushed around

Somebody made you cold

But the cycle ends right now

Cause you can't lead me down that road

And you don't know what you don't know

Someday I'll be living in a big old city

And all you're ever gonna be is mean

Someday I'll be big enough so you can't hit me

And all you're ever gonna be is mean
Why you gotta be so mean?

And I can see it years from now in a bar

Talking over a football game

With that same loud opinion

But nobody's listening

Washed up and ranting about the same old bitter things

Drunk and roaming all about how I can't sing

But all you are is mean

All you are is mean, and a liar, and pathetic, and alone in life
And mean (4 times)

But someday I'll be living in a big old city

And all you're ever gonna be is mean

Yeah
Someday I'll be big enough so you can't hit me

And all you're ever gonna be is mean

Why you gotta be so mean?

Someday I'll be living in a big old city

And all you're ever gonna be is mean

Someday I'll be big enough so you can't hit me

And all you're ever gonna be is mean

Why you gotta be so mean?

Three Wooden Crosses Lyrics

A farmer and a teacher,
a hooker and a preacher,
Ridin' on a midnight bus
bound for Mexico.

One was headed for vacation,
one for higher education,
And two of them were searchin'
for lost souls.

That driver never ever saw
the stop sign.
And eighteen wheelers
can't stop on a dime.

There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway,
Why there's not four of them, Heaven only knows.
I guess it's not what you take when you leave this world behind you,
It's what you leave behind you when you go.

That farmer left a harvest, a home and eighty acres,
The faith and love for growin' things in his young son's heart.
And that teacher left her wisdom in the minds of lots of children
Did her best to give 'em all a better start.
And that preacher whispered "Can't you see the Promised Land?"
As he laid his blood stained bible in that hooker's hand.

There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway,
Why there's not four of them, Heaven only knows.
I guess it's not what you take when you leave this world behind you,
It's what you leave behind you when you go.

That's the story that our preacher told last Sunday.
As he held that blood stained bible up,
For all of us to see.
He said: "Bless the farmer, and the teacher, and the preacher"
Who gave THIS Bible to my mamma, who READ it to me."

Why there's not four of them, now I guess we know.

Randy TravisHere are a few facts I found about Randy Travis and the Three Wooden Crosses Song.

  • Randy Travis was born on May 4th, 1959.
  • He is best known as an American country music singer and actor.
  • Since 1985, he has recorded 20 studio albums and charted more than 30 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.
  • Twenty-two of the 30 were number one hits.
  • Randy is considered a pivotal figure in the history of country music and broke through in the mid-1980s with the release of his album Storms of Life, which sold more than three million copies. The album established him as a major force in the Neotraditional country movement. Travis followed up his successful debut with a string of platinum and multi-platinum albums.
  • By the mid-1990s, Travis saw a decline in his chart success. In 1997, he left Warner Bros. Records for DreamWorks Records and changed his musical focus to gospel music. Although the career shift produced only one more number one country hit "Three Wooden Crosses", Travis went on to earn several Dove awards, including Album of the Year three times.
  • In addition to his singing career, Travis pursued an acting career, appearing in numerous films and television series, including The Rainmaker (1997) with Matt Damon, Texas Rangers (2001) with James Van Der Beek, and seven episodes of the Touched by an Angel television series.
  • Travis has sold over 25 million records, and has earned 22 number one hits, 6 number one albums, 6 Grammy awards, 6 CMA awards, 9 ACM awards, 10 AMA awards, 7 Dove awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
